AND YET, I REMAIN

Rick Wall’s short documentary, co-devised with Dougal Paterson, delves into the remarkable story of resilience embodied by shark attack survivor Caleb Swanepoel, a South African water sports enthusiast.

This short film follows Caleb as he slows down to process his trauma while returning to the ocean to learn to free dive. Caleb is still coming to terms with his new body, but he realises that although something has been taken from him, the healing power of the ocean also has much to give back.
